Puspakesuma is a teaching staff under the Department of Medical Education and Bioethics as well as an asocciate researcher at the Center for Bioethics and Medical Humanities. She has a background in Psychology (Bachelor – Universitas Gadjah Mada) and Global Mental Health (MSc – King’s College London & London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine).
Her research interests lie at the intersection of innovations technology in health and its social and ethical implications, as well as the interplay between moral resilience and medical practice. She is part of the Professional Behaviour Committee at the FKKMK UGM which deals with the promotion and overseeing professional behaviour within the medical school environment. Aside from that, she is actively engaged in social projects to understand social and ethical issues experienced by the community in accessing health services.
