This DPK SERIES 2017 on Facilitating Learning provides an introduction to the theory and technique of facilitating student’s learning in the field of medical and health education profession. This book explains the relationship of health problems and medical-health education, how to help students to study in large classes or small classes, and importantly the basis for providing constructive feedback for the implementation of an optimal and meaningful learning process, within the context of health problems for learners.
The way of life “Tut Wuri Andayani” is a foundation of facilitating student’s learning. The attitude will be very empowered through the provision of constructive feedback. A teacher is no longer a source of information, but a companion of learners in finding and sorting information in order to realize the independence of learning and the ability to provide better health services in the future. A friend to learn is a partner to cooperate collaboratively and cooperatively to complete the daily learning tasks that do not regard the limitation of line and place. Aware of the self-limitations, needing others, cooperating with others and being open to the latest scientific evidence-based information are the attitudes of learners who continue to be built through the attitude of “Lifelong Learning”. We realize that the contents of this book are far from perfect, so the authors need constructive feedbacks from readers for the improvement of this book in the future. We hope our efforts can provide benefits, though still limited, for the medical and health educators in Indonesia. |

This series of DPK SERIES 2017 specializes in the discussion of Basics Development of Medical and Health Profession Education Curriculum. Matters containing in this book can be an inspiration and reference on the management and innovation of the education curriculum. Learning from the history of medical education, theories and concepts of education, as well as the fundamentals of curriculum development based on the phenomena or health problems is a core part of the book whose hope can provide the basic principles of curriculum management in medicine and health, while the development of advanced curriculum will be presented in the next DPK Series.
Authors and Compilers realize that this book still needs improvements to the perfection of writing and content. Criticism and suggestions from readers are of course expected for improving the quality of this book. DPK SERIES 2017 on Bioethics Education provides an introduction to the theoretical basis and the developmental stages of bioethics education in the educational field of medical profession and other health professions. At the end of this book, there are also some sample footages of bioethics education at the level of macro-curriculum and micro-curriculum.
